Pineapple Chilli Caramel Sauce
The Punchy One
Ingredients
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp The Punchy One
150ml of Oatly cream (or alternative cream)
Method
Heat the sugar in a heavy based saucepan over a medium heat, without stirring, until it has melted and turned dark golden.
Remove from the heat and add 2 tbsp of the pineapple chilli jam. Be careful as it will spit.
Put back on the heat and add in the oat cream. Simmer for a few minutes until all combined.
We love poured over gingerbread* with more oatly cream but it's equally delicious with ice cream, over grilled bananas or with our nectarine and almond cake!
